Christmas Parade - Dec 2nd 2017
Come join Cub Scout Pack 136 as we march in the 2017 Christmas Parade in Grove City!
Date: 12/02/2017 (Sat.)
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm EST
Location: Grove City Town Center
Click here to RSVP for the Dec. 2nd Christmas parade.
The parade is on Saturday, December 2nd and kicks off at 7:00 pm.
The scouts are encouraged to wear festive Christmas clothing (i.e. Santa hats or other Christmas-themed apparel) along with their Class A uniforms. Also, since the parade is at night glow necklaces, bracelets and sticks are welcomed! Dress for the weather!
Come early and stay late to check out the crafts and retailers who will be on hand. Be sure to stick around for the tree lighting ceremony. Santa Claus is also scheduled to make an appearance!
Each scout MUST have an adult accompany them during the parade. Scout leaders have commitments after the parade and cannot wait for you to pick up your son once we are done marching in the parade.
The parade starts at Park Street Middle School, heading north on Wilbur Avenue to Columbus Street, then west on Columbus to Broadway. Then it will head south on Broadway to Park Street, ending back at the school.
Please meet no later than 6:30 pm at the Park Street Middle School sign out in the front of the school on Park Street. Once the pack is gathered we will be assigned our spot in the parade.
We would also like to ask for donations of mini candy canes or other Christmas candy.
P.S. Please include your scout's name when you RSVP.

September Pack Meeting 2017 – Police and Fire Dept. Safety
Where/When: Thursday Sept. 21st 7:00 pm at the FPC.
Learn about safety from our local Grove City Police and Fire Departments. The Fire Department will be providing a smokehouse for house fire safety and a firetruck and/or ambulance. The Police Dept. will be bringing a cruiser and a distracted driving simulator. If we are very lucky we may get to see a K-9 drug dog and a DARE vehicle (This will depend on if they are readily available the day of the pack meeting).
Webelos café will be open for business. Bring your appetites for pizza, pop and chips. All purchases support Webelos 2 Scouts to help pay for their upcoming fees as they crossover next spring from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.
Webelos 2, Dens 3 and 7 will be responsible for our Flag Ceremony and Opening/Closing Clean-up.
We will have our drawing for free Pack 136 Spring or Fall Family Campout. All those that stayed last spring at the Tar Hollow to help clean up are entered to win.
We will also be kicking off our single yearly fundraiser – POPCORN!!! Please plan on attending.
