Scout Sunday Is Coming Up on Feb 10th

Scout Sunday is already one of the highlights of the BSA year. This year Scout Sunday falls on Feb. 10th.  (The Boy Scouts of America was founded on Feb. 8, 1910.) On Scout Sunday, uniformed Scouts cross the country will greet the congregation, participate in worship services, receive religious awards and conduct service projects to benefit their place of worship.

The goal: Thank the religious institution for their service as the unit’s chartered organization. First Presbyterian Church of Grove City would like to welcome you on Feb. 4th to their morning service where you can participate (in uniform) and show your Scout Pride. If you go to another church home you can always wear your uniform that day to show your scout support.
