October Pack Meeting - Pumpkin Derby
The October Pack meeting is on Thursday, October 16 at 7PM at First Presbyterian Church. This year we are doing the Pumpkin Races! Bring your own pumpkin decorated and on wheels. We will judge them and then you will race them down the pumpkin ramp. We will be judging pumpkins on originality, race-ability, and many other factors, so Be creative!!! Best design award will be given for each cub scout rank. An award will also be given for fastest pumpkin.
Five simple rules:
1. Pumpkin Size cannot be more than 20 inches diameter (entire race entry cannot be more than 24 inches wide) to fit on the ramp.
2. No carved pumpkins (this gets too messy).
3. Paint/Glue/Decorations MUST be dry.
4. Must have at least three wheels.
5. Owner's name must be visible on pumpkin.

Volunteer Sign Ups
Pack 136 provides a quality program to youth because of plentiful, dedicated adult leadership and support from our chartered organization. We'd love to have you join our team of leaders! It's a lot of fun - that's why we do it!
We need help in all areas from pack committee positions to activities helpers. At the October Pack meeting we will have Volunteer Sign Up sheets for all the pack to see. Come see where you can help make the Pack go!
